The SnowEx® Renegade™ poly hopper spreader line is the essential tool built for the daily grind of serious commercial contractors. Its rugged, corrosion-proof poly construction is engineered to last storm after storm and an integrated lid system keeps bulk materials dry to reduce bridging for a more consistent spread pattern. Your choice of material delivery system allows you to optimize your spread pattern to your de-icing material of choice: the patented HELIXX™ auger system is optimized for bulk rock salt application, and the pintle chain conveyor system is optimized for thick, heavy materials like sand and salt/sand mix. Equip your machine with the optional Triple Threat system, allowing you to pre-treat your granular materials or performance direct liquid application; all with the same unit.

Features:
• Polyethylene Construction & Geometry: Resist the corrosive environment of de-icing with polyethylene construction. Lightweight, yet highly durable, these hoppers are built to last. The molded polyethylene tub geometry is optimized for better material flow. This allows for a smoother, even flow that prevents materials from getting stuck.
• HELIXX™ Auger Technology (Auger Models Only (P150A & P220A)): Patented corkscrew material delivery system is optimized to operate in the target range for rock salt spreading best practices. The auger has multiple pitches to help promote smooth, even material flow from the hopper and prevents bridging. The shaftless technology reduces drag on the motor and reduces the overall load on the electrical system.
• Pintle Chain Conveyor (Chain Models Only (P150C & P220C)): The large conveyor delivers reliable, smooth, and consistent material flow for heavy, dense materials (like sand and 50/50 mix) while reducing bridging.
• Interlocking Poly Lids: Standard lids have molded channels for moisture runoff. Pockets at the end of the lid allow a 2×4 to be inserted for leverage while opening.
• Stand On End: Special design allows the hopper to stand on end for easier storage in the off-season and easier installation into the truck bed. Simply remove the two pins, unplug it, and take off the chute before standing up the hopper.
• Extended Material Delivery & Pre-Wet Chamber: A material delivery extension reduces leaking/ spilling during transport and leads into the patented pre-wet mixing chamber. It also provides a cab-forward design for added stability and weight distribution of the hopper. (Pre-wet accessory sold separately)
• Optimized Spinner Channels: The ridges on the spinner ensure an even distribution of material throughout the spread arc. The spinner is 16” diameter and can spread salt up to 36’ and sand up to 24’.
• Chute Power Plug: Heavy-duty, weather-resistant plug is IP-68 rated. Positive latching ensures a secure connection, even with vibrations caused by consistent travel. The plug has been tested to 5,000 mating cycles for durability for many winter seasons to come.
• Common Part Chute Design: The ergonomic, hinged design uses fewer components for all models, making service easy. A direct-drive motor offers better torque and reduces servicing.
• Swing Away Chute Assembly: Remove the pin, unplug it, and swing the chute from the the driver’s side to the passenger side, providing easy access for maintenance or material unloading. The chute assembly can also be removed for convenient access to the hitch or to stand the hopper up on end during storage.
• Material Spill Protector (Chain Models Only (P150C & P220C)): A protection flap at the end of the conveyor prevents material from spilling out and pooling near the vehicle cab.
